Engaged employees reached the goal to save one child!

On 4 and 5 July 2022, the first Welcome Day after the pandemic was held again in presence.

To involve the new employees in VINCI Energies' solidarity activities, points were collected during the "Sustainability" workshop to enable a child to receive a heart transplant within four Welcome Days.
Employees were so motivated to play games such as throwing rings or sandbags to collect points that after two days, a total of €9,200 was raised. Axians, as the host of the Welcome Day in Mannheim, increased the sum to 12,000€, so that a child could be saved after the first event in Mannheim.

We are very happy about the motivation of the employees and the increase from Axians!

Braving the oceans to save children with Initiatives-Cœur

VINCI Energies has teamed up with the sailboat Initiatives-Cœur to support the work of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque. Our goal is to enhance the sailboat’s performance, boost the visibility of its cause and thereby save even more children.

Worldwide, nearly one in every 1,000 children is born with a heart defect.

The humanitarian organisation Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque enables these children to come to France for a medical operation when they cannot receive treatment in their home country due to a lack of financial or technical resources. Together, let’s take action!
